    Hi,

I would like to achieve the following, but I'm confused with the amember...could someone point me in the right direction?

    1. How do I send an email immediately after a user has signed up (but not yet paid).

    2. After that immediate email, I would then like to have a few emails spread over a month sent to the user, enticing them to pay.

    3. As soon as they pay, stop sending them reminder emails to pay.

    any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ronnie

You mean they dont complete payment?
"Not-Completed Payment" Notification can send it out X days later
If you set it as 0, it may send it out to people who pay too.

What I do is use listmail, and a hack to amember that adds the user to a pending list upon signup, but before payment is confirmed. It then removes them from the pending list upon payment.

Anyone else have another technique they use?

    Here's an idea...

What about if I set up a free product, and executed something like this:

Page 1: They enter their email for free product.
Page 2: ask them if they would like to purchase for full access.

if they just get the free product, and don't purchase, then periodically send them emails. Then once they sign up, stop sending them emails for the free product.

Could that be achieved with amember alone? if so...how!?

does sending customized email for the product in cP work? Manage Products / product / email settings. I've actually tried it for a free product but the email doesn't seem to work, it might be different for a product with a price.

pity it doesn't integrate with icontact - that would be perfect
