    Hey guys,
I'm having tons and tons of credit card failures on rebill. I email folks 3 times after failure to ask them to update their credit cards, and I email them before their credit card expires to ask them to update their credit cards as well. I don't have a way of tracking reads and clicks in those emails but I am still experiencing huge numbers of rebill failures (about 1/2 - 2/3 of my rebills fail).

I've tried a variety of subject lines, message content, and more, but I'm wondering if anyone here as any real successes they'd like to share.

also, what percentage of successes do you get on your rebills?

This sounds strange but it needs to sound like a collection message...
    i.e.
Payment Past Due Avoid Fees in subject line

    then state
your credit card for your subscription...has expired and the payment is past due - to keep your accont in good standing and to avoid any penalties or fees update it today...

does not mean you will charge it but it has to get their attention for them to take action

good idea, i will try it. I really want to find a way to track this though. tried google tracking code but I also find that if I put the user login name and password into the url of their email they are much more likely to go in and change their card.
