I love that amember has account sharing detection built in - very useful. I have a problem that others that use amember may not. I sell to business and sometimes large corporations. I want each person to have their own account instead of doing a shared login that disables the detection. The problem is that they often share a single ip address for the corporation, so it is hard to notice that it is really different people loggin in with same account. Has anyone else dealt with that problem? Any solutions?
What you are concerned about is 1 userid logging in from many IP addresses (ie. someone sharing their userid and password so that multiple people can use it), not many userids logging in from the same IP (which is the scenario that you are talking about). Where you run into issues with corporations is when they have a proxy server that routes requests through multiple IP address so that each new page request from your user might be served from a different IP.. This does not, however, sound like the problem you are describing.
I didn't think about that scenario - yes, I am concerned about that as well But, in addition, I am concerned that multiple people are logging in from same ip - which I don't want. I got a response from amember support that they could do a mod to check both ip and browser user-agent in order to check this.
