I have been using amember pro for a few years now. Every week I send a couple broadcast emails. This week one is repeatedly failing with an Internet Explorer connection failure screen. However my connection is fine. My failed email list has has 54 recipients. I am sending the email in HTML format 5 emails at a time. In the past, if the broadcast email failed, I simply resent it, and it worked the 2nd time around. This week I tried 4 times, and it did not get past sending to twenty. I don't want to retry again, as those low on the list have already received the email four times. This is not good PR. I have opened a Help Desk support case, but since I didn't get a real person reply back right away, I am posting here hoping for some quick help. Thanks! --Don
When I've had a similar problem (but not from within amember) it turned out to be that my ISP had been forced to limit the number of messages per hour going from each domain on their servers to prevent spamming. It appears there are some quite strict rules about maintaining opt-in mail lists which ISPs are obliged to ensure you have in place
