Can I hide a custom field as a password?

    I'd like for an add-on field to be shown as a password rather than text box on the edit profile page.

    I can see on the template where smarty generates the additional fields, but don't know how I'd make one of them a password style while leaving the rest text.

    I'm guessing with some smarty knowledge one could check the field name and if matches to show it that way, but I don't know enough to do that.

    Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Sorry not sure I understood what you mean. Just hide password edit box? If so aMember CP -> Setup -> Advanced -> User can edit these fields.
