Hi, I have a new membership site running and am a nervous nelly. I will be doing the integration with Moodle and would like to have a completely separate copy of AMember running (with just a few fake members in it) so I can experiment with any changes as I go. I already have the two copies of Amember running (one in http://mysite.com/amember and the other in http://mysite.com/testdirectory/amember (just copied over and have all the look/feel things working). But they both point to the same database. I have a new database setup, but I'm not sure it's going to let me have two truly independent Amember installations, with separate databases, under one license. Again, the 2nd is purely to have a testbed for changes. Any thoughts? Am I going about having a test site the right way? Can I do this under one Amember license? Thanks in advance for help! You can install another copy in a subdirectory like you have it there with another database, of course... as long as they're all under the same domain name
You also get a "localhost" aMember license for testing as well. This will allow you to use something like XAMPP to have a local install for development and testing.
