I have read about renewal groups and subscriptions. But I'm confused, and don't know if I need to rethink how a subscription is offered.

For clarity, let's say I've got 1 product. I want this single product to be able to be purchased multiple times by a member. I read I can do this with renewal groups and a negative value in a field.

Is it possible to have these multiple purchases of a single item made renewable?

What I have is a page protected service, where a member purchases the ability to create say a webpage and then purchases the same product to create another webpage. The purchase of another of the same product is determined by a total signup count. That is to say the owner of the webpage is allowed say 500 subscribers, once this limit is reached, another purchase of the same product is required. I want the owner to be able to renew each subscriptions, so the owner's members can have ongoing access unless the owner fails to renew.

    All Help Appreciated

    thanks

It will work fine, but there will be a problem with upgrades. aMember Pro will be unable to determine how to calculate dates of next subscription.
