After working on our site for a long time it is now up and running and many thanks to Alex and the team for all the support. As a newbie to the software I found out something today that may be of interest to others. It has to do with recurring billing with Paypal. When we were building the site we ran billing tests, of course. We had to do the tests live since I could never get the sandbox on paypal to work correctly. Each of the test subscriptions were refunded by me from my paypal account and deleted from the aMember admin section. Recently I began receiving recurring payments for our test memberships. I assumed, incorrectly, that aMember sends a request for payment each month so subscriptions cancelled in our admin section would kill the recurring billing. Not so. Once a recurring subscription has been sent to paypal it will continue to bill unless cancelled on the paypal site by either the subscriber or the site owner/admin. Simply deleting the membership in the aMember admin section and refunding will not cancel the automatic billing. Hope this is of some help and will prevent someone else from having to call Paypal service and listen to 45mins of ads. Lol. Good luck. And thanks again Alex and crew!
