cancelled old product

Hei,
I need a solution, the customer gets a free product, now if a customer buys the next product previous product disappears. Is this possible to do?

For 3.x there was a neat little 3rd party plugin called "Kill Product", but I dont think anything similar has been developed yet.

RobW has been doing a good job at putting out some for 4.x, maybe he'd take up the call?
