I am working to get amember integrated with my website. I am working off of my local computer:
    Windows XP
    Apache 2
    PHP enabled

Trial version of AMember (at the time)

    1) Everything was working fine, I was halfway through getting my site development done and then I started getting expired messages. This baffled me since I only installed amember yesterday.

    2) Thought I would fix this by going ahead and purchasing amember. No big deal. Got the new files and pasted them in. Still get the expired messages.

    3) Downloaded the fixlicense files and when i try to run the fixlicense.php file I get Fatal error: This file has expired. in D:\{removed path}\amember\lite.inc.php on line 0, meaning i can't run the fixlicense fix.

    4) I completely removed amember, cleared the database, reinstalled zend optimizer and did the whole process over again and still have the same error.

So, what can I do to fix this:confused: Its eating into my development time. I just want to get it working on my development machine. Please help, urgent!

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

P.S. I am using trial 2.3.8 with pro 2.3.9:eek:

Just download aMember Pro trial again and overwrite files. It's all. No re-installation needed for everything. expiration date is coded inside these files.

So this is what I did

To fix the problem above, I downloaded the full pro version, the upgrade was just not working. That fixed the problem.

    REQUESTS:

    1. I would like to be able to have a non-expiring license key to localhost. That way on my dev machine I can run all the tests and development I want. If you feel this is possible please email me or reply to this post, and I will contact you.

    2. I would like the license to support mulitiple domains with the same name so they can be (mycompany.*) instead of mycompany.com. Typically, the websites I run have mycompany.com & mycompany.net pointing to the same website.

Let me know what you think.

    1. Sent by PM.

    2. Only 2 domains can be added into license. In any case, this setup is not the best choice. It is better to setup all domains redirected to MAIN domain. It is also better for SEO.

I'd also like to have my localhost added to my license.

I've sent a support request about this.

it would be good if the system checked and allowed for any localhost addresses

It is added, you may get it from the same page where you get "real" your license key.
