Just installed the free amember to try and make sure I like before I upgrade to the pro.. It installed and set up ok it seems.. But guess I'm confused bout the protection stuff. When I go to add a user thur the control panel or make a new user acct thur the login I keep getting this error "Cannot open c:inetpubwwwrootmysiteamember/data/.htpasswd for write. Make directory c:inetpubwwwrootmysiteamember/data and this file writeable for PHP scripts. " I have read thur the protecting your files docs and have made a dir called protected_dir1 and added the text desc. in the .htaccess file but still get this error.. Im sure I have something wrong : ) have this setup on my home system for testing and dev right now.. running win2k , have php server and mysql up and running on this system, so everything right now is running off localhost.. Any help would be great , thanks

    1. I hope you have Apache running, else protection will not work.
    2. The problems is not directly related with protection. Please make sure directory
    c:/inetpub/www/rootmysite/amember/data/
    is created.
