I'm trying to install Google Website Optimizer conversion code within my amember members area or on a thank you page but Google won't validate the code.

I've searched high and low and cannot find how to do this. Support just sent me a couple of answers that simply don't/won't work but I'm not sure they understand the issue.

    Anybody have a clue?

I've been using google optimizer for some time now.

    Which version of amember?
Where did you place the conversion code on the thanks.html page?
I place it after the analytics code.

Never seen that before.. Why are you placing it there?

David, it's the latest version of Amember... Maybe I'm missing something or doing something wrong?

(btw they should put you on the payroll, you're a god send for this forum - I appreciate the help)

I'm just trying to get the conversion code on any page AFTER the customer has signed up - a page that Google will validate - if the thanks.html page is where it's meant to be, that's where I'll put it... But Google won't validate that page.

I don't know what you mean by after the analytics code... I don't think I have any analytics code on there.

your are using the yoursite.com/amember/thanks.php in google right?

Place the code just before the {include file="footer.html"} on thanks.html?

I think I too got the can't validate message for my thanks page, but it still works.

David, I think I've found a workaround... I put the code on the thanks_error.html page as well, it's validated it there.

Not sure if that makes any sense, hope it helps somebody.

Google won't allow you to continue unless you validate the codes so you are unable to start the test.

This may be a recent addition to website optimizer?
