I am setting up our first adult site and am having a hard time figuring out a few things that seem that they would be standard, but am having a hard time getting answers. Obviously tons of sites are doing what i want , but no one seems to be sharing any How-To's.

we are running a trial period of 5 days for $4.95, which gets user access to

www.oursite.com/trial ---- we want the user to be able to upgrade

at any time during the 5 days and get access to

    www.oursite.com/members
    for $29.95 a month (reocurring)

also if the user doesnt cancel in 5 days they will be automatically upgraded to

    www.oursite.com/members for $29.95 a month (reocurring)

the curent configuration gives errors when member updates from their member area "username taken" this is a ccbill error and happens on card authentication

i think what im asking is "do i need to create a seperate subaccount in ccbill for this to work and will mysql/amember make sure that there are no identical usernames between 2 .htpassword files ?? "

    any help would be appreciated

    thank you

    Mike,
it is really better to ask ccBill support this question. May be it is possible to remove "unique username" requirement somehow. This problem is not specific for aMember and doesn't happen with other payment processors.

As real alternative, you can suggest your members to always use amember signup page and each time choose new username if ccBill requires this.
