    Hi Alex,

I have imported over 35000 members, giving each member a product that has a duration of 1y, is recurring and normally uses the Free Signup pay system. When I imported these members I set the expiration date to 2012-12-31.

I want these members to be required to renew each year, or at least to be notified that they need to renew and encouraged to fill out their profile in exchange for the free membership: name, address, etc.

    Here is my question:
Should I set the expiration date in the payments table for each of these members to be 1 year from now? Or is this set up in a good way?

    Thanks!

    Komra - I don't understand :
    - product is recurring and uses Free payment system? How free can be recurring ????

    - how these members signed up? For free?

I need to know answers, but as I guess, it would be better is to set expiration date to 1 year from now.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for answering, Free renewal does sound kinda silly. But we want to have members be prompted to renew every year even if they don't pay. Sounds like it would make sense to set the expiration date as 1 year from now...

Set subscription period in product settings to "1y" and fix current expiration dates for members.

    Hi there,
I'm also looking for sure features or a work-around like fix current expiration dates for members. However, if I have 1000s of members, this may not be feasible. Any other better way(s)?

    Thanks!

    Please have a look to
aMember CP -> Edit Products -> Mass Subscribe
    feature.

If it is not usable for you, let me know - it is anyway easy to resolve.
