On the member.php page, where you have the drop down box for existing members to renew subscriptions or purchase new products, I would like to convert these to text links.

Does anyone know how to do this so they will still be directed to the shopping cart instead of being directed to the signup page?

    Thank you :)

You can use this url for such links:
    /amember/member.php?action=renew&product_id=1&paysys_id=paypal_r
If user will click on such link he will be redirect to paypal with product #1 in cart

    Missing cart step

Hi Alex... thank you, the link works great.... but I was wondering, is there another variable I can add to the link that will take the user directly to the 1shoppingcart cart instead of strait to the checkout page.

The reason I'm asking is because if you skip the cart page, and go directly to the checkout page, you don't see the product title on the checkout page with 1shoppingcart.... if the user is taken to the cart first, they will be able to see the product title there before checking out.

Thank you for all your help.... you have execellant tech support :)

It should redirect you to shopping cart first.

    You're right Alex

Thanks Alex.... I do believe you are totally correct.... it should. I made an accidental discovery late last night while adding products to the 1shoppingcart system.... I tested one of the links that I have set for the amember plugin and it did not add the product to the cart. Then I tested all the products associated with the amember plugin and none were added to the cart. All products that were not associated with the amember plugin did test correctly and were added to the cart.

Finally, I decided to test a signup from my site and the sale went through, although it did skip the shopping cart, and went straight to checkout. I'm sure this is a 1shoppingcart issue. I'll contact them to see what I can find out and I'll update you here to let you know what they say. This definately appears to be a glitch on their end.

Again, thank you so much for your help :)

1shoppingcart's reply to "view cart" missing step

    Hi Alex,

I'm pasting below the reply I received from 1shoppingcart about the missing "view cart" step. I'm not sure why they mention the One Click Buy Me Links because I didn't ask about using those in their system.

When you are using the aMember plugin you will NOT use the Regular Buy Me Link or the One Click Buy Me Link but rather customers will start the purchase by going to your aMember sign up page (normally called signup.php).

In regards to your customers being taken directly to the Check Out page it is supposed to function in this fashion. In Version 1 the customer was taken to the Cart Contents Page and then to the Check Out Page. In Version 2 (which is what you are using now) the customer is taken directly to the Check Out Page. We are currently in the process of upgrading everyone to Version 2 at which point Version 1 will be decommissioned. I am sorry to say that it is NOT possible to have customers first directed to the Cart Contents Page then to the Check Out Page. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
