Hi, I've already began customizing my amember setup and membership site. Let's say I have 50 active members and everything setup perfectly. If I login to my amember cpanel and go to Setup/Configuration > Global > Root URL and License Keys... and then change the root URL from www.mysite.com/amember/ to something different like www.mysite.com/members/ , will this screw up my site or mess everything up? Or is this safe to do once you already have your site up and running with active members?
Are they paying members? Which payment system? If not paid, you can change it- but 1st change the settings in amember / admin /settings, then make the change to the URL. David
Thanks for the quick response David. Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, are you telling me to 1st change the root URL in the amember admin settings, and then 2nd go into my actual cpanel/file manager and rename the amember folder to the new name that I just entered in the amember settings?
