Checking Authentication for Admin Page

    Hi All,
    I have integrated a feature(a new link or page) with the admin tool, now i want to check the authentication if the admin is logged in or not for that page.

    How to check that ..any idea from anyone?

    It is not easy to check. It is better to protect with htpasswd or something like this.
