    Hi Guys,

I understand that "Expire Notification" will not be sent for products with recurring billing, as the system states.

First question - Is there any setting where the system WILL send out an email a certain number of days to say "Your recurring subscription is set to rebill in 7 days..."

Second question - What if a member has a recurring product that is canceled automatically from Paypal upon a few failed bill attempts... Where in the system can I set for the email to go out that says "Your subscription has canceled and is no longer active..."

Basically, I want the system to email a user if/when their membership expires from a recurring product.

    Thanks.

    Hey David,

First off, it's good to see you hear in the New Year - you've been a great help for many years!

OK, I thought setting the Expire Notification would do the trick but it says "will not work with recurring products." Is that the case? (My product is recurring.)

Yes it will not be sent for recurring products. If you want to send notifications even for recurring products user Send Automatic Emails instead. For exampl;e if notification should be sent 3 days before expiration of 30 days recurring product. Set days to 27 and also set Send Automatic Emails after renewal to "Reset days counter"

I know this was a while ago, but just to clarify. If I set the days to 360, will it only send notifications out to products with a yearly subscription? Meaning, I have yearly and monthly subscriptions but only want to send automatic emails to my Yearly subscribers.

this depends on where you have configured these notifications.
If you use global setting from amember CP -> Setup -> Email then notification will be sent for all products.
If you use aMember CP -> Manage products -> Edit Product , notification will work only for that product.

    Thanks Alex.
So if I place "360" in the
    Send Automatic Emails

    user can receive automatic emails
after signup. You can setup series of emails
    to be sent.
0 - message will be sent immediately after purchase
2 - message will be sent 2 days after purchase

I will get an email sent to the member with that product that they are about to be renewed for that product, yes? This is the yearly product of course.

Do I need to make sure any other settings are implemented in the product before it will work?

Revisting my old thread here too ;)

Alex - I love that workaround for sending automatic renew emails that way.

Question: So I have a product where Duration is set to 1 year.

If I want a notice to go out 30 days before automatic annual recurring, I will set a product email to go out 335 days after sign up. All is good.

But if I add this today, will my current members receive the email when they reach 30 days prior (or do I need to do something where you said "and also set Send Automatic Emails after renewal to "Reset days counter")

    Thanks!

Great. Thanks so much for your superior product - a product that was superior 10 years prior to all others!
