    Hi,

I just need to clarify that I'm doing this right. I'm protecting a bunch of HD mp4 video files. Since I can't upload them in the amember admin tool, I've been ftp'ing them to amember/data/upload .

I then add them in the Protect Content -> Video section as new entries.

Question: Do the files remain in amember/data/upload? Are they protected there?
Also, if I want to update a file, can I overwrite it in that folder and see the content changed for members? are there any other steps?

    Thanks,
    Plannerguy.

Answer: yes, remain. yes, protected. yes, you can overwrite and that is all what necessary.
