Its possible that since your amember site is an add on domain- the database wont need to be moved. You will need to update the site URLs in the amember admin / setup before moving.

To change amember from www.addon-domain.net to www.domain.com you will need to update the license key.

If your server paths change as a result of the domain name you will also need to revisit your folder protections to reflect the new path.

    Thanks for the reply....
I have been getting ideas and would like that you experts to help me to get the best way to do it.
Somebody told me that I dont need to move anything (website or database). Also davidm1 suggested that. so....

    Lets recap:
1.- I am going to leave my addon website as it is. It means, all the content in a subdirectory ~/public_HTML/addon-domain/ with amember installed in its database (DB-1).
2.- Then i am going to redirect the main domain to the subdirectory "addon-domain" in such a way that my url adress will be www.domain.com. So I will have all the content in a subfolder that will work as a webroot and not in the root.
    3. Then on the Amember admin I change the site Url.

Is that all?? Sounds too easy.....can you clarify this please....please, pleaseeeeeeeee

per my previous comment, if the location of your amember\data folder changes on your server (ie. \user\domain\public_html\addon -> \user\domain\public_html\domain) you will need to update any protected folders that the .htaccess points to the new path.
