Hi all, I'm considering Amember for my Wordpress site to sell my courses/books but I needed to ask some more specific questions: 1. Is it possible to add/remove people from different autoresponder lists PER PRODUCT? (I looked at the live demo but only saw a "global list" not one for each product) For example, the buyers of "Product A" get added to a "Product A buyers" autoresponder while "Product B" buyers get added to a separate "Product B buyers" autoresponder list. Each of these autoresponders leads to a separate chain of pre-scheduled e-mails. 2. What all exactly does the Wordpress plugin do? I'm assuming I'd have to get both Amember and the WP plugin for maximum database functionality 3. Are the order forms completely customizable? I don't want my order forms to match my site (the less distractions the better), I just need them to have a certain field layout within a narrow table (minimal graphics) for conversion reasons. 4. Can it support a sales process that goes like this: a. Customer clicks buy button and enters name and email - they get added to "Incomplete Orders for Product A" list. b. They enter payment details on the second screen. c. Any relevant upsells display. d. Purchase is completed and they are taken OFF the "Incomplete Orders for Product A" list and ADDED to "Buyers for Product A" list. e. Now I can make backend offers to the purchasers and also email the incomplete orders to hopefully get them back into a sale. Also, I am using MerchantAnywhere as my merchant account so does that support come natively or does it need a plugin? Thank you, Greg P.S. If anything I described can NOT be done, any guidance to something that could support this is highly appreciated. I'd really like to avoid hiring a guy off of Rent-A-Coder to customize it all for me and then have to have a bunch of separate systems (autoresponder, affiliate program) trying to work together.
aMember has an autoresponder for each product. Adds the amember user info into wordpress so they can comment. Also needed if you are using levels or restricting content to specific products withing wordpress. Yes, you can edit the amember templates- they are html. No. amember lists them as members pending or incomplete if they havent completed payment- you can follow up on these. I also wrote a plugin that will put them on a "pending" product, so you can use the amember email system to send them out messages on a sequence. (available to my premium members for $30) Sorry, no idea. David
Hi David, Thank you, that helps. Maybe it would help if I showed some screenshots. I'm wanting a 3-step order and delivery system that works exactly like this: http://www.grinc.org/ads/step1.jpg Step 1: Just collect the name and email. (using the black/yellow template in the step 2 screenshots) http://www.grinc.org/ads/step2.jpg http://www.grinc.org/ads/step2-2.jpg Step 2: Choose between an "A" option (always more expensive) and a "B" option (less expensive) in EXACTLY the same layout as shown in the above screenshot. Then take the payment details below on the same screen. Step 3: Deliver product on the 3rd screen. (again, using the black/yellow template in the same screenshots. Can I do this?
