I am new and just bought Amember. Can you tell me which content managment system would work well with donwload videos and pdf's?

There are so many CMS and I need one with the fewest bugs and good security.

Both Wordpress and Joomla seem to be popular free CMS systems to use with aMember.

    For downloads w/ Joomla:

DocMan: already mentioned and very popular

reMository: we use it and feel it's better w/ active development. You can see how we use at 121books.org

Sobi2: popularity growing very fast and has active development and community. They have a streaming video plugin and just added a download plugin. We may eventually make the switch to Sobi2. Personally, I'd bet Sobi2 will eventually become what most Joomla users choose because of its flexibility (picture gallery, downloads, media, directory, google maps integration, pay to post, etc.)

If you go with Joomla, check out Joomla.org and browse the extentions section. See what others have to say. Good Luck.
