I have been running the Coppermine plugin for several years without issues. I am considering upgrading coppermine to the latest stable version which is 1.5.12 and I am wondering if anyone has had any problems doing the same. Can the old coppermine plugin (1.4) still be used? Thanks in advance.
If you are currently running amember 3.2.3 with the current Coppermine plugin at Coppermine version 1.4.x and you like the auto login feature, then DON'T upgrade Coppermine to version 1.5.x! Upgrading will still allow users to be added from aMember, but will break the auto login feature. Apparently the guys at aMember have not made the required changes to the Coppermine plugin to make it compatible with the new version of Coppermine. This should be done ASAP because Coppermine claims that support of version 1.4.x will cease within the next 6 months. I suggest the aMember team fix and re-test the CM plugin and offer it as a new 1.5 version rather than try to cobble exiting installations through their support portal.
Plugin for Coppermine has been updated to support single-login for ver 1.5x. It will be available with next release of aMember. Also we can send updated plugin by request via helpdesk.
