The Coppermine is plugin installed and working. But when it's installed, Coppermine hands over certain features to the controling program - in this case, aMember.

I can't see any way in aMember to add new groups to Coppermine. I even tried manually inserting a record in to the Coppermine groups database. aMember then then displayed the record I installed in the product/subscription maintenance area dropdown - one time. When I saved changes to the product/subscription the record I added to the group database was deleted, so that obviously did not work.

Has anyone been able to add groups to Coppermine afeter integration with aMember? I'm sure there's a way to do it that I'm just not seeing. The only option under the Coppermine Plugin setup is the space to enter the database name information, so I know it's not there.

    Thanks

    That's because it won't work

After much research and pulling-of-hair I found out that the Coppermine plugin does not support or allow adding or editing of Coppermine groups. It also kills Coppermine's ecards, reporting and several other interactive functions. All it does do is manage membership. For some, this is enough, but I want to be able to use all of Coppermine's features - that's why I use Coppemine.

I have the same problem as buffpam. I've installed a fresh Coppermine 1.4.10 without any plug-ins, then aMember (Trial) and it worked at the 2nd attempt.

But then several functions of CPG do not work properly anymore. Instead of moving it to the helpdesk I would prefer to discuss it here so that others can profit from the info.

Basically aMember is just what I want and the payment part seems to work very well. The problem must be with Coppermine or aMembers "attitude". As a non-programmer I guess it has to do that Coppermine's user database is passed over to aMember, and this isnt returning all the functions necessary for CPG to work. Any way this can be fixed?

    Thanks for your reply!
