correct settings for product autoresponder

    Under product settings there is a section "E-Mail Settings" where you can send automatic emails.

    I was wondering how "Send Automatic Emails" works. When I set it to 0 it will send an email right after an user signups.

    My question is, will this message be send every month if the product is monthly recurring? Or only once as long as he as an active subscriber to the product?

    Other questions is about "Use Customized Signup E-Mail". Will this email be send:
    1) every time the user orders this product (i.e. every month if it's a recurring product) ?
    2) only once when he signs up for this product even if it's a recurring product.
    3) only when he creates new account and signs up for this product?

    Will he also receive this sign up email when he re-signs up for this product after his product expired?

    I would appreciate a clarification on this issue.

    Yes- if they have purchased something before this products then use the 0 day autoresponder for the 2nd product. Otherwise use "Use Customized Signup E-Mail" at signup for the initial product.

    0 day will be sent once on signup.

    He shouldnt since they are no longer a new signup, and also past the 0 day.
