I need some clarification on how coupons work with recurring billing. If you have a coupon code for 100% and you apply it to a product that is billed every month.

    a) Is the coupon applied until the subscription ends?
    b) How does the "Member Coupons Usage Count" field affect the cost?
If I place the number 5, will it work for 5 months and then start billing or does it mean for 5 separate checkouts the coupon will work?
    c) What happens if I turn off "Apply to recurring?"

    Thanks in advanced.

You can set coupons to be used on the initial payment or both the initial and recurring. - set to apply to recurring to use it for both, off and its only the initial.

"Member Coupons Usage Count" means the number of times the member can apply the coupon, not how many months its active for. Each time they order the product is one usage.

I can't seem to find "Apply to Recurring" when I set up a coupon. (under Generate Coupon).

These are the only things I see:

    Coupons Count
    Coupons Usage count
    Member Coupons Usage Count
    Code Length
    Discount
    Comment
    Dates
    Locked
    Products

Where can I find the option for Apply to Recurring?

Thanks for the response, Davidm1 --

That option isn't there for me. Is it because I have haven't upgraded? I am running 3.0.9. Maybe this is a feature that was included in upgrades?

If that is the issue, maybe I should consider upgrading. I've been hesitant to upgrade - fearful of problems, when things are basically running pretty well now. But I'd love to have the "apply to recurring" feature.

    I think this is new.
It's there now on my 3.1.x versions.
