Just read a write an old write up on A / B testing and what the effect of the use of coupons had:

    http://www.clickz.com/showPage.html?page=1756031

In this case, the removal of a "Coupon Code" affected conversion rate by 90%.

I don't currently use coupons on any of my sites.

Have any of you done testing of enabling and disabling coupons on your sites? How has this effected your conversion rate?

Do any of you make use of 3rd party copy writing / marketing / conversion services? Which Ones? How have they helped?

    Good post.

You need to test it in your own market- i noticed no change in conversions when I tested it- and another marketer I recently talked to about this said the same for his site.

    I use google analytics.

    David's right Skippy.
Our tests showed almost a 50% change in one market and absolutely no change in another. The buyer mindset in all markets tends to be very different
    We also use Google Analytics
