Hi All Does anybody know if there is a way to have a member use a coupon code after they have created an account. Here's the scenario. A potential member signs up, creates an account but doesnt complete payment. So we email them and say sorry you had problems here's a coupon code to get 20% off They come back to the sign up page and it says if you already have an account sign in, if they sign in and try and add or renew there is no where for the discount code. If they don't sign in they can't create another account because their email address is already in use. Does anybody use a similar process and is there anyway to allow a registered user to use a coupon? Thanks Darren
Should be possible- you would need to 1) create a coupon 2) create a block on the members page that is only displayed if they have no completed subscriptions (this is the tricky part that will require coding) Simpler is to send them an email letting them know about the coupon- you'll need to periodically change the coupon to prevent it from being shared.
