when I look at the cron.php file by way of the browser, there is nothing in it but the following code (using "view source"): <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD> <BODY></BODY></HTML> is there suppose to be something other than this basic html? I know I am slow at figuring some things out, but eventually I will learn to walk.
well, it is how IE displays a source of EMPTY HTML page. If anything works as it should, cron.php don't display any messages or HTML
Can't access start file so if I keep getting the following email sent from the server that tells me: Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host. lynx: Can't access startfile . . . What is the remote host that it is looking for? Would that be a payment processor? I do not yet have any payment processors set up nor any product pages. I started to setup paypal, but paypal doesn't need cron job anyway. Would any of this be the cause of the error message or is this isolated to the server or does it point to a setup error? I think I have cron setup properly in amember and on the server and have looked at it many times.
