I run a paid content membership site with aMember and enjoyed the benefits of the software.

I have only one problem so far a few times with my cc merchant 2CheckOut.

When a customer purchase a membership subscription, they will be sent by aMember to 2CO page to complete the paymen. 2CO process the transaction real time and when approved, sends back the customer to our site and they can now access our content.

2CO said that we're not suppose to activate customers account until they "approve" customers payment by emailing us with their "Order Review" to let us know if a sales is approved, failed, or pending.

This is a problem. Their Order review emails usually comes in 3 DAYS and membership sites always gives instant access after the credit card merchant pass/approve their credit card transaction and send back a command to our membership script to approve the transaction and let the (supposedly paid) customer to gain access to their "purchased" member's page.

So, it looks like anyone with a credit card can put an order for the membership, download everything we offered in one day and call up their credit card center to cancel that transaction. This is basically an act of a thief!

Anyone has a solution to this please?

I'm not sure which solution can be offered here. I believe only the right solution is to use another payment processor with instant processing.
Just think about - will your subscribers wait 3(!) days before get access to site? While any other membership site offers access immediately.

The other problem is 2CO is the only merchant I know who accept International merchant. So I current really stuck with them until someone else accepts application from my country with same or better benefits 2CO currently offered.

This is the reply I get from them:

Thank you for contacting 2checkout.com in regards to this matter. I apologize for any difficulties you may be experiencing. This order was actually canceled by our fraud department due to previous fraudulent orders placed using that credit card. Please allow me to explain our fraud review process.

    1. When an order is initially placed our system checks that the billing information provided matches the information on bank records. If this information does not match the order is not even allowed to process and you will receive no notification. If the information does match you are sent a confirmation email and the order moves on to the next stage of our fraud screening.

    2. The order is then put through an automated fraud review program that checks a number of different criteria and determines if the order has passed or failed fraud review. If the order passes this fraud screening it is automatically accepted and does not require any further review. If the order fails this fraud screening it is canceled immediately and no further screening is required. However, if the order is deemed suspicious, it is passed on to a member of our fraud detection team and personally reviewed.

    3. Our fraud team will personally review all suspicious orders and send you notification of the status of the review. You will receive a batch email every 12 hours telling you the status of each of your new orders. These orders will fall under 1 of three categories in the email.

    A. PASSED: The order has passed fraud review and the funds will be withdrawn from the customer's account. You are safe to deliver these orders.

    B. FAILED: The order has failed fraud review and no funds will be withdrawn from the customer's account. You will not want to fulfill these orders.

    C. SUSPICIOUS: These are orders that the fraud team has deemed to be suspicious. They are canceled temporarily until we are able to gain additional verification from the cardholder. You will want to wait to fulfill these orders until you receive confirmation from us that the order has passed fraud review.

All fraud review is completed within 48 hours at the absolute latest. You will want to ensure that you check your fraud emails to determine which sales are safe for dispersal. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

    There are 2 choices:
    1. Use another payment processor.
    2. Just ignore this fraud checking. It will reject may be 1% of sales, but because you are selling "virtual" products, you may just ignore it. If you would sell real, tangible goods it would be another case and I believe 2CO is talking about such kind of sales.
