$db functions

Where would I find a list of $db class functions that I can use with aMember?

I see functions like:

$db->get_user($_amember_id);
$products = & $db->get_products_list();

I would like to use these types of functions to get information from searches.

Is there a list of these functions and what they return? I can't find them in the code - I assume they're encrypted??

Anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this with aMember?
