I am running 3.0.8 Pro with a coppermine plugin and a PHPBB plugin. Everything seems to work fine except the rebuild DB, which really seems to be a server memory hog. My php.ini file was initially set for 16Mb, but after installing the coppermine pluggin, I had to increase my php.ini memory setting to 128Mb. Then, once I installed the PHPBB plugin, I had to increase php.ini to 256Mb to prevent a memory error. Now, doing a rebuild DB takes almost 30 minutes at which time my dedicated server is at about 1.50 (WHM). I'm not sure if it will complete or not. I had another recent problem where my PayPal members are not being added once they complete payment. This is a bad thing. It may be unrelated, but it only started occurring once I began adding the plugins. One more thing... Doing Daily sales reports always locks up, never producing the report and places a heavy load on the server. Weekly reports seem to be OK. I have less than 15,000 members. Any help would be appreciated.
Go get my rebuild utility. The problem is that everything is being loaded into an array, I run 32meg for php, the rebuilder does it in chunks rather than one big bite... see the sig
I bought your rebuild utility and replaced the original in the /admin directory. I then did a rebuild, but then went off to bed since it seemed to be taking a very long time...when I awoke the next day, the page had timed out, so I'm not sure it completed correctly. Is it posible to make some basic changes to your rebuild.php version to retain all progress messages, rather than flash them on the page for a few seconds, then continue? This would help to better track progress. The new rebuild did nothing for the daily report problem.
