Difficulty Tracking New Versus Renewed Members

    Hi Alex,

    I sent this information to you via email as asked for previously and I have not yet heard back. Can you please assist us with this matter?

    1. We have our membership configured to allow a customer to purchase for $9.95 the first 60 days of their membership. After 60 days the membership is set to auto renew for $9.95 for each month after until they cancel.

    2. How are we to know based on the reports/payments menu which payments are a renewal or a new customer? Currently for everyone it reads that the "period" is 30 days. Prior to the work done last week it used to indicate a 60 period for new customers and a 30 day for all renewals.

    3. We also tried searching for new payments via the search user function and looking for a new subscription based "subscribed exactly on a specified day." The results returned included new and reoccurring payments.

    4. Based on this we are unsure how to tell when a payment is new or reoccurring and we need this information for book keeping purposes.

    5. In the payment menu when it run for a specific day it also lists cancelations which makes it even more complicated and difficult to find new members.

    Please advise on what we should do here.

    If we add an search options to payments list such as 'show signup payments | cancelations | other'
    Will it be a good descision for you?

    can you add a search by payment id ?

    for example be good to enter the paypal payment id and search for that user.

    If we could search based on new payment, cancellations, and renewal payments that would solve our problem.

    Hey - I was just reading through some of these posts and found this one...

    Has this been implemented yet? Is it just up on the site somewhere - or something I have to request?

    Unforuntunately, it has not been imlemented in that time, we've found another way to solve issues.

    So the other way you found will just be added in a future update of amember?

    It's nothing that I need urgently right now - but would be a great feature I'd like to see... :)
