Discount based on quantity

I would like to automatically include different % discounts for different quantities of products purchased. If a customer selects 10 products they get a 10% discount and that discount shows up on the credit card page. If they purchase 50 products they get a 20% discount etc. I would like this to be configurable via a GUI so that I can create as many variations of the %discount to quantity as I want.

Any amember coders interested in this project?

I would think you'd be better off with a shopping cart system as opposed to a membership system.

Well the problem with doing that is that I had some functionality built around amember's product management system that I have to have. When I create a new product in amember it creates a new product in my course administration area. I then configure the course with information, an assessment exam and a course completion certificate.

Would it be so difficult to have a script count the number of products checked upon submission of the first signup page and then automatically apply different coupon code discounts based on different quantities?
