Hi I am using discus 4 pro (www.discusware.com). It is written in Perl and uses mysql database. Since it uses a different encryptions system than all the php-based forums, I wonder whether an integration between discus 4 pro and amember would be possible. see http://support.discusware.com/forum/messages/7/14293.html and http://support.discusware.com/forum/messages/4149/8327.html Would it be possible to make that work together and if yes, how to get all existing users into the amember database? If I plan to integrate additionally also Mamobo and photopost 5, would that be impossible? -they use currently their own independant registration system... Thanks in advance
No, it is not compatible, because nobody else has asked for this. You may contact us via helpdesk and it will be implemented as custom work if needed.
We were using Discus 4.1. I did not see this posting until today, or would have asked if you did do the custom integration for Snoopy 5? I just paid for PunBB login addon but would much more prefer to use our Discus 4. Is it available?
