Hi everyone, sorry for so many questions at the moment but with it being a tough year for the economy I am trying to streamline my amember setup.

I have looked at my reports and see an average of 50% of signups actually complete the checkout.

I can only assume that if someone has gone to the trouble to register to upgrade their forum account there must be technical reasons why they have not paid.

I'm assuming it may be my validation issues posted in one of the other forums on here.

What I am looking for now is advice from others on what procedures you may have taken to get good / improved paid figures?

Do you have non-completed payment auto-email set up?

Hi Skippy, I have and it's setup with default wording. I might have to tweak the wording.

I also wonder sometimes if they get them. My payment address is just a generic btopenworld address through btyahoo because I use my paypal on other sites.

Maybe I should look at setting it up under the domain name for email and see if it improves. The only thing is I would have to get one of those multiple IPN scripts so all my sites don't have the same ipn email.

I also didn't know if anyone was going to comeback with a setup they felt worked with marketing tricks giving a discount in so many days etc.

I've only just realised the importance of looking into amember regular. I usually just check my emails for payments and leave the amember as it is.

    until now!! lol

Another suggestion is adding credit card capabilities (Authorize.net?) .. more than 60% of my payments are via credit card.

Hi again, I still get a large amount of pending so I am going to try adding offline payments as well. If they go through offline where would be the best place to give them address etc? I don't really want it on the signup form in case they just send payments without going through.

    also

Is there a suitable technique to also offer bank transfer?

    many thanks :)
