    Hello, i',m integrating wordpress+amember.
My membership site is centered around video-lessons that are released on a weekly basis.

Currently the only thing i want to protect are the posts that have the videos on it. For that purpose i use hidepost. I don't want to protect the entire wordpress folder because i want people that come across my site to access the free content and hopely register as payed users...

My question is... do i really need to configure folder protection through amember? I mean, hidepost isn't enough?

    thank you very much.

Hidepost hides content in the wordpress site. However, if people know the URL of the videos eg yoursite.com/content/video.flv, they can copy and email this url. By using folder protection on the content holding directory /content/ you prevent "hotlinking".
