We use Paypal as a payment processor.

We are increasing the price of a product and are wondering if it's better to

    1. Modify the existing product to reflect the new price, or
    2. Create a new product with the new price.

Our dilemma is that we do not want new members to see the old (lower) price when they go to the signup page or when they are on the members page. How can we prevent that?

My guess is the best way to do that is the change the price of the existing product to reflect the increase, but we want to make sure that this doesn't impact existing subscribers.

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thank you!

The best way is to create separate product and disable current one.
Most payment plugins does not allow to increase price for existing users.
