I'm running a paysite off Drupal with aMember handling subscriptions. I allow people to create free accounts in Drupal, but that was causing a conflict with aMember. When someone creates a subscriber account with aMember, it didn't allow him to use the same userid he already may have generated through Drupal. Also, if he used the same email address on both accounts, it somehow caused Drupal to dump the subscriber account down to an "authenticated user" role, instead of the "subscriber" role. (Drupal treats email addresses as unique.) So what I've done is create a "Free" product type in aMember, attached to the "authenticated user" role in Drupal, and blocked access to the Drupal account create function. I'm hoping this will eliminate the conflict. I'll post here again and let you all know how it works out. I'm very happy with aMember otherwise. It's taken what might have been an onerous job and made it pretty easy.
How goes? Hello, I'm currently setting up Drupal to use on our paysite ( http://www.yogayak.com/drupal ) Does your fix still work well? What is your url, I'd like to see what you did with Drupal as I'm still having some problems with integration. Love and light Michel
