I've installed the 30 Day Trial verion without much difficulty and it seems to be working fine. No problem adding users etc. One of the first things I wanted to try, was sending an email to a test user account that I setup. The test user has a valid email account but no mail seems to be getting through. I'm getting a success message "your email has been sent, send another email", but the email's aren't turning up in the test user's inbox. I also checked the box to required signup confirmation. But again no email getting through. I've also configured Email settings for Admin User but still no joy. Is this one of the features disabled in the trial version? I wasn't able to find a list anywhere.
Have you verified that you can programatically send email from that server? i.e. -- do you have (or can you write) any other script to send a message from php? That'd be the first thing I'd check. Loren
Yeah that shouldn't be a problem I'm on Dreamhost if you're familiar at all with them. I've done it in the past using PHP scripts to send mail. Other server info running PHP5 as CGI with register globals turned off.
Update All my test emails, about 6 messages just came through in one batch. I'm pretty certain the problem was related to a new email account which hadn't had time to kick in properly. My bad, fixed now.
