I have been having some problems with people not being able to access. I don't know if this is the cause or not.

But looking as when some lifetime subscription end instead of saying in the future is say 1969?

My memberships are set up through ultra cart. I had no problems until just a few weeks back and access problems started to occur.

What's with this 1969, yet still active subscriptions?

Do I need to manually change all of them or just leave them alone?

This is not correct 1969 expiration date is in the past so user will not have access.
You should change these dates to something in the future (2037 for example)
Also Contact me in helpdesk and provide example of affected users, may be the problem is in product configuration (wrong renewal group for example)
