Error ( Setup.php )

    Are you sure you entered the correct information about your database?


    Is amember really the database name? Are the username and password correct?

    voorspellingen_nl looks like a database name rather than a username.

    Access denied for user

    Add access for user
    "voorspellingen_nl"
    to database
    "amember"
    in your CPanel or somewhere else (your hosting support should know).

    It is not aMember problem, sorry, so we cannot give you exact answer, sorry.

    "Cannot connect to database" install error

    I had the same problem as reported in this thread (Step 3 of install). After much heartache it turns out the default "localhost" was not correct for my site, I instead needed "mysite.org" in that field. After that all was well.

    I am so far VERY impressed with this program and if all goes well will be buying it soon to replace ourold archaic membership program...
