    Hi,

When I click on the Setup/Configuration link in the Admin CP, I am getting the following message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_config_items() on a non-object in /hermes/bosweb/web274/b2740/ipg.andikconsultingcom/amember/admin/config.inc.php on line 25

    Please help! thanks. :)

    2 things to try:

    1) Re-Upload the aMember files and try again (upload the zip file and unzip locally on server)

    2) Check permissions of your files / folders and ensure that aMember has ability to write / modify files

I had the rep set up my site. I have no clue how to do what you just said. I'll check the installation manual in the meantime to see if I can figure it out.

When you say "rep" do you mean aMember support? If you are not tech literate, I'd suggest opening a ticket with aMember here for their help:

Yes, I had support set it up. I was able to unzip the aMember files like you suggested. But now I'm not sure where to find the permissions and if I'm able to write or modify them. where would I find that?

Thanks for the heads up on the trouble ticket. I will submit it if I can't figure it out. I always try to learn it on my own first. :)

You can change permissions one of 3 ways:

    1) via FTP most have a properties option which allows you to set read/write/execute permissions.
    2) via your host CPanel there is typically a file manager that lets you set permissions
    3) If you have access to SSH to your server you can use CHMOD to set them

Some additional information available in the manual here:
