    Hi all,

EU VAT laws force everyone who is selling digital goods to consumers in the EU to calculate and pay taxes in the country where the consumer/buyer lives. Ebooks definitely fall into that category.

We sell ebooks and deliver them with amember. We have one price per ebook no matter where the customer lives.

This means that all our prices are VAT inclusive.

So we need a monthly report, showing the amount of sales to each EU country AND the calculation of the VAT due to each country.

This report is needed to do the VAT specification MOSS system in our own country (which is what we will work with)

Ideally the module would have possibility to specify tax rates per country.

Does anybody already have something like this working?

Anybody else care to get this developed?

    Thanks!

    Hey Ollie,

Check out the tax settings config - it allows you to charge vat country by country as well as single rate, so just switch it on 1st Jan

    Cheers
    Rob
