Question: If a person's credit card expires and aMember attempts to re-bill on a recurring subscription but it fails (because of the expired CC), is the person then given an opportunity to update their CC info or is it already too late? I am trying to figure out if it is possible to send a reminder to people whose credit cards will expire prior to the attempted re-bill. Or, alternately, if aMember will allow those users to update their cc info after they are sent the email that says the rebill has failed. Or, if all of this is moot. What exactly happens in this scenario? I have looked through the manual and cannot find information on this subject. I am using Linkpoint, if that matters. Thanks.
aMember currently doesn't have special handling for this situation. What will happen - rebilling will be failed, then user will receive e-mail message about decline and will be invited to enter amember/member.php and renew subscription. When they go to this page, he will be able to choose a product to order, then enter new credit card details.
