I've implemented FB Connect but the question I have is - what's the use? Typically this button will allow a one shot login into a site, e.g. like vbulletin, so that the user doesn't need to enter in all the data and register separately. The FB name and email address is extracted and placed into appropriate fields. As of right now, I tried to use FB Connect on Amember and it forces a user to register - even if it is just once. I do understand the need for amember to collect information - we typically want that in addition to the minimal amount FB may give us. But is there a way to bypass this if desired? For example, there is an option in Wordpress to allow registration there to be silently added back to amember and an account created. I believe this is the case. I have some great vbulletin and Xenforo addons that I'd like to work the same way. This way we can have users with Facebook give us basic information in one shot and immediately login.
