Ok so I have setup a Wordpress Blog, used the K2 theme and styled it how I want. Now I am trying to understand if EE (ExpressionEngine) or aMember is the way to go. I simply want to have some content free and other content for members only (could be posts or separate section). One membership option, yearly subscription. 1. What version of WordPress is best for the aMember Wordpress plug-in? I'm currently using 2.3.3, is older better? 2. I've seen some issues regarding aMembers db & auto logging in to the WP db. When a user wants to join the site are they taken away from myurl.com to a aMember site and then returned to the WP blog? 3. The info says allow 24-48hrs after installation to get to learn the script. I thought it was all just additional options in the WP control panel(s)? is there a lot of other stuff to play with?
