Feature Suggestion I'd Like To See... Rebill Attempts

Hello Alex,

You should have a forum link called "Feature Suggestions" so that members can offer you suggestions and see if they could enhance your already superb aMember Script.

Anyway, I'd love to see this on aMember...

For each product that gets created, I'd like to see two extra fields/variables added.

1) Max Rebill Attempts
2) Days Between Rebill Attempts

So for example, if I add a new susbscription membership and I'm using Authorize.net as my payment processor, I'd like to enter something like:

Max Rebill Attempts: 10
Days Between Rebill Attempts: 3

So if aMember tries to charge a card and it fails for whatever reason, then the system should instantly send an email to the member that says something like:

Subject: **Payment Failed

Body:

Dear John,

We tried processing your subscription to our ultimate
widget membership site and your card declined.

Please verify with your bank that everythig is okay.
Contact us if you need to use an alternate card.

Well try again in three days.

Thanks,
Admin

Then, aMember should automatically update the subscription and get ready to bill again in 3 days.

Once aMember has tried for 10 times (which is the Max Rebill Attempts) and failed, then the member should be locked out of the member's area until he or she updates their CC number or renews their subscription manually.

Hi Alex,

I feel like such an idiot. I never kept up with your upgrades because I didn't think my site would have success like it's having now.

The version I still have since I purchased from you is 2.3.6PRO and I see you added that feature on version 2.3.8 - just a few months after I purchased.

Main reason I haven't upgraded is also because I like the ability to make little tweaks on my own without having to bother you each time and wait for 24 hours until tweaks are made for me. Since the newest version of aMember, all the files are encrypted with ZEND, which means that I can't even tweak a payment plugin if I really needed it to display a different thank you page.

What do you recommend I do? I would really like that feature... can you simply send me the cc_core files so I can upload them or is it more complex than that?
