I've successfully got my my membership site up, integrated a SMF forum and clickbank thanks to the help of you guys. . now I have one last thing to do. I want to be able to "reverse" the process of the clickbank integration. . as of right now, my customer goes to mysite.com/signuppage they sign up at this URL and then they go to the clickbank page where they pay Is there any way for them to go in this order. . MY SALES PAGE - > CLICK BANK ORDER FORM - > GET FOLLOW UP E-MAIL THROUGH AWEBER - > FOLLOW LINK IN E-MAIL TO SIGN-UP FOR MY SITE - > HAVE AN ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AT MY SITE. Does that make sense? Kind of like a "reverse" process of what I have now. I want them to PAY FIRST then create a username/password. . etc Thank you
For amember to keep track of the rebilling, they need to go to amember signup before clickbank- only other option is to place a free signup on the clickbank thank you url. David
What do you mean by “free sign up”? and how would that work from an authorization and management standpoint?
Normal signup process: clickbank hop > landing page > amember signup > clickbank payment > amember thank you Alternative signup process: clickbank hop > landing page > clickbank payment > amember (free) signup (change signup.php to cidafo.php to keep secret) >amember thank you David
Thanks for your help David. If amember can’t automatically delete clickbank people who unsubscribe, and they don’t actually handle the clickbank billing (clickbank does), then what would it matter? What is the benefit of having them sign up for the amember account before they pay via clickbank? I'm just trying to figure out whats better and why.
With the normal signup process, amember will be informed when a user cancels and will stop the recurring subscription. The alternative- amember has no idea whats going on at clickbank. Thats why the normal signup process goes through amember 1st, so amember can create a payment record. David
from my understanding even though amember gets notified of a cancled subscription, u have to manually remove the member through amember. If you have to manually do it anyway, if you did the alternative process. . . Wouldn't clickbank notify us via email and we could manually remove cancle members?
