    Hi Everyone,

I'm fishing for ideas to set up a forum the best possible way
that will easily integrate with Amember as well as keep
    access private.

Right now my product is protected by Amember (a wonderful
    system).

So the forum will only be available to these customers.

I assume it's best to do the following?

    1) Install a forum behind Amember, and set it up as "Product 2".

    2) Hide "product 2" form the public sign up form, but allow it to
be seen and accessed by paid customers.

    And this one is important:

    3) Once they subscribe to the forum, I want their Amember
username & password that was used to sign up for the main
product to be the same username and password for the forum.
    And done so automatically.

P.S. I'm willing to pay for help with this if necessary, so long as you
    have references, thanks!

Install a forum such as phpBB3 and add the phpBB3 plugin to aMember. Within phpBB3 define members "groups" and the groups forum access privileges.

In each of your existing aMember products, assign what phpBB3 group the user will belong.

All signups are handled by aMember and the same user/pass combo will automagically be created in the forum. There is no need to create a "product" specifically for the forum in aMember.
